A Theoretical Foundation for Context-Aware Cyber-Physical Production Systems

The complex workflows and interactions between heterogeneous entities in Cyber-Physical Production Systems (CPPS) call for the use of context-aware computing technology to operate effectively meet order requirements a timely manner. In addition objective due date, resource contention production processes, CPPS may enter undesirable states. states, all or part activities are waiting states blocked situation improper allocation resources. capability date prevent system from entering an state poses challenges development applications CPPS. this study, we formulate two awareness problems, including Deadline Awareness Problem Future States address above issues. our previous found that Discrete Timed Petri Nets provide effective tool model analyze paper, present relevant theory support operation by extending lay foundation developing with deadline future capabilities. We illustrate developed study example conduct experiments verify computational feasibility proposed method.
